People used to think egocentrism is always bad. Not knowing that you could be egocentric and respect the rule at the same time
Egocentrism is about putting your needs first before others, not necessarily being evil. You could also be agreeable, and so irresponsible at the same time
So yeah. Egocentrism is not always bad. You don't have to be the most altruistic person, the most modest people, or the kindest
You just have to be honest, accept what you should accept, be responsible, and follow the rule
